when death becomes his
death always strikes quite hard. especially of those who are dear to our heart. i just arrived home from surabaya when i saw the picture of a man that i know quite well. ‘hey, i know this man’ then i read the article, my sweet lord, he was killed and mutilated last saturday.
and at the time being, police is still searching for his head and legs. i was like ‘oh my god, what happened? why him? why was he killed? mutilated?’
and i thought when was i met him last time. it was last month that he came to my office. a cheerful man. always with smile on his face. my deepest condolence and prayers are with the family. rest in peace pak kin fang! he is just an acquintance, a man i know from my line of duty, still, the death of such young, joyful person like him struck me quite hard. how easy someone can leave for good! without warning! not even the slightest.
my boss said on saturday he came to the office to deliver some samples for christmas decoration and in the evening of that very same day, someone found his body and arms. looking at silver metal desktop christmas trees on my desk, i cannot help picturing him in my mind. such a nice man!
ah, i’d better call my friends, buzz em over the yahoo messenger and tell that i cherish my friendship with them!
