prisoner of history
how many times in life, we based our judgement on people for what they have done in the past?
and vice versa? many times, we tend to be way much too critical to others than to ourselves. busy judging people and giving very little space for self contemplation and self assessment. tend to be bitchy and judgmental that others are this way and that way because they used to do this and that. no wonder many of us ended up being prisoner of history.
for while we were busy judging and labeling others, we missed the invaluable chances of self growth. self development. that way we stuck to the image that others were attaching to us at the first place.
and no, i am not implying that we should forget our past. no, a big no no. for yes, we can learn a lot from history, just that it should be taken as stepping stone for further attainment. that way we will not be prisoner of history but survivor of history. one thing to do (well at least in my mind), lessen the time usually spent by judging people and allocate it for self critique. self judgment. self contemplation. good luck. we are in this together!

mmm.. mm.. komentar apa yah?
anyway, people learn from history. yg sulit adalah untuk belajar bahwa masa kini (seseorang) bisa berbeda dari masa lalu (seseorang). karena toh ada juga yang dari dulu konsisten alias gitu2 aja..

wah… pas inget lagunya Ymngwie Malmsteen : “Prisoner of Paradise”.. gak nyambung
some people get misperception from their own history. Wrong-way-learning often happened.

as i said before… who are we to judge others??? people make mistakes, no exceptions… past will always be part of our life… so? why worry too much about the past?? yes, we can always learn about someone from their past. BUT it doesn’t mean that we burn that person on the stake for the past s/he has

well, I say you’re only as good as your latest post.
others are just detail, burried in archieves page, waiting their time to be washed in purgatory.
