Felicia Annabel Daonna Tampubolon will turn three tomorrow. my one and only niece, the sunshine in our family, can’t wait for her birthday party tomorrow. she keeps reminding people that she will turn 3 tomorrow. yes darling, we do remember. Still fresh in our mind when you were born 3 years ago, a true joy in our family!

She now is a beautiful, talkactive *i wonder whom she got that from * girl that we are always proud of. Just yesterday, when our cousin and her husband came to her house and was about to have lunch when Icha suddenly asked *uncle auntie, let’s pray. we have to pray before we eat. c’mon do like me and she just them said the prayer, dear God we, auntie, uncle, my mom and I will eat. amen. It is a normal practice when we are together and about to eat, she will be the one who will say the prayer since she was only 2 years old, but still it came as a surprise that she led the prayer when other people than the family is around.

yesterday, i was in a meeting, 3 foreigners and 2 indonesian. my of my, i was really embarrased yesterday when this indonesian guy kept answering phone calls during the meeting who was supposedly to be a very important and critical meeting. and gosh, he used the speaker phone feature.

halloooo, yes we know you have those smart expensive mobile phone, and yes we know that you are a very important person, and yes we know that you have great voice *not quite* and yes we know you have good command of English *not quite* damn, i was so embarrased then.

man, can you at least learn the rules for being a participant in a meeting? use your common sense at least! all those three foreigners kept looking to each other and i was left in despair, embarrased to be an indonesian. hell no, not all of us is like that! gosh, damn you man! be indonesian ambassador in the meeting! give the real meaning for the word polite we are known for! *sigh*
