(difficult) choices?
Once I read an encouraging article about choices. The author wrote that when we wake up in the morning, we automatically face choices, to get up or lay awake on the bed? Take a bath or go straight to the kitchen for breakfast? Or in big words to be a winner or a loser? Yum!
So the choices are ours. Who make them difficult (to choose)? Us? I guess so. When we are facing choices, we tend to wish all choices to be ours, that we do not have to choose. Right? Most of the times we do not like to choose I gather.
I am facing two (difficult) choices this week, to stay in my current position or to assume a new one. Well, guess who makes it difficult? I do. I like my current position a lot, enjoying the good relationship in the office, enjoying the spacious working station, enjoying the tasks, (I can go on with the list really *grin*) but the new position is also something that I dream of. I have to frankly admit these are two difficult choices. But since the choices are mine, I list all the goods and bads (old trick that still do wonders) decided to stay in my current position.
I know I will be harvesting arguments (being overly self confident here lol) for sometimes indeed choices can be very difficult to name a few some life endangering situation but hey, I do not say it is not difficult but when the choices are ours, take your chance and decide what is best of the best for you (got a bit scared that people will be coming with arguments that I can not talk back about..hahahahahaha)
