ID card…
After almost 7 years residing in this island of gods, Bali, I decided to become one of its legal resident. Right about time, huh? It’s getting more and more difficult for me to process things, especially those with administration issues, with me not having Bali ID card. The most significant occasion when the fact that I do not have Bali ID card is quite a problem happens when I want to apply for credit……LOL.
Before the Bali bombing, everything seems okay, but after the Bali bombing, the issues with people from outside Bali residing in Bali without proper ID card has been rising quite dramatically. No one to blame really, I guess the government of bali is just being vigilant, on high alert to avoid such ill-fated incident to occur again.
Well, I have my salatiga ID card put on a death chair and this afternoon I will process my Bali ID card. Yay…hope it will ease things with me living in Bali…..not sure if I will spend the rest of my life in Bali, but looking at the fact that I have been living here for 7 years and love what I do here tremendously, I guess, it is a ‘good’ decision. Btw, will it ease me planning my marriage with a Balinese guy…heyyyy…..who knows! LOL
